AI PROMISES TO GIVE US TIME BACK. WHO GETS TO KEEP IT?
About the event
Description by the organiser
Productivity, Power and the New Human Contract at Work
Artificial intelligence promises to make us faster, more productive and more efficient. But if technology gives us time back, why does work so often feel more demanding?
And who actually benefits from the time we save?
The question is no longer simply what AI can do. It is what we choose to do with what AI makes possible.
Join Sofia Manso for a thought-provoking conversation about one of the most overlooked questions in the future of work: whether technological progress is creating better organisations or merely raising expectations.
Drawing on her experience in executive people leadership, organisational consultancy and the ideas explored in her book O Teu Próximo Passo (Your Next Step), Sofia challenges the assumption that greater efficiency automatically leads to meaningful progress.
What we'll explore
• Who benefits when AI increases productivity?
• Why working faster does not necessarily mean working better.
• The hidden human and organisational costs of constant acceleration.
• How leaders can turn technological gains into autonomy, sustainable performance and shared value.
Who should attend?
Founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, people leaders and anyone shaping the future of work.
